We never stop thinking of ways to make Cooler Bucket Hats the best bucket hats for any activity. The size of our hats is variable depending on the weight and thickness of the outer cotton fabric and inner terry cloth. They are all cut for the dimensions of an average, medium size head. Cooler Bucket Hats can shrink a 1/2 size smaller in the dryer, but they can also increase in size when soaked in water and stretched slightly.

Since Cooler Bucket Hats are designed for sweat absorption and cooling while the person remains active, we wanted the Cooler Bucket Hat to remain secure whether or not the user was running, playing tennis or pickleball, hiking, gardening, etc. Therefore, we engineered a small size adjuster in the rear of the latest Cooler Bucket Hats.

The size adjuster can cinch the hat approximately 1/2 size smaller. It still allows the hat to expand if a larger size is desired through wetting and gently stretching the hat.

The size adjuster can be hidden once it has been set to the desired fit.

The second modification to our standard Cooler Bucket Hat is a front brim button or snap. This enables the user to flip up and secure the front brim to the hat to give the hat a stylish new look or enhanced visibility.
