Cotton terry cloth absorbs sweat and holds water better than most fabrics. It is rare to find an absorbent, terry cloth headband inside a bucket hat or any other type of hat. Not only does a Cooler Bucket Hat have a cotton terry cloth headband, the entire hat IS a cotton terry cloth headband.

Our Soak and Wear design works differently than 99% of summer, cooling hats. Hats for active or athletic use are made of synthetic, wick and dry materials. Other hats have monstrous sized brims designed to “block” the sun. If needed, a Cooler Bucket Hat can be soaked in ice water, wrung out, and worn for rapid cooling. It form-fitting and designed for any sport or activity. It is essentially an ice towel for your head, but more functional and a lot better looking.

The Original Towel Hats are essentially the 1.0 version of the Cooler Bucket Hat. The entire hat consists of a single layer of terry cloth. The new design features a lightweight outer fabric that helps the hat maintain a cold temperature for a longer period of time. It also enables The Cooler Bucket Hat Company to produce customized Cooler Bucket Hats for our customers.
